Technical / IT Support Specialist, Blackbushe (Hampshire) - Up to £27k dependent on experience

We’re looking for a Technical / IT Support Specialist who is ready for the next step in your career. You’ll be joining an innovative business with a lot of growth in the pipeline, playing a vital role in keeping IT running smoothly.

As Technical / IT Support Specialist you’ll be someone who is confident with working collaboratively with all aspects of the business to ensure smooth operation. Are you confident with troubleshooting issues and ensuring new starters are able to effectively use new tech? This is the perfect role for you.

Here’s what you’ll be responsible for as Technical / IT Support Specialist:

  • Working with the Head of Engineering and Tech Director to understand the needs of the Product Engineering team and how best to service them using technology
  • Working with key stakeholders and directors to ensure the continued success of the business
  • Onboarding of staff on their first day and supporting them in their first week
  • Creating self-help documents to allow people to self-serve on the most commonly asked questions and issues
  • Collaborating with Developers, Product Owners and UX Designers on a daily basis, troubleshooting issues and removing blockers
  • Running regular security audits and penetration tests to ensure we are able to identify and manage any security risks
  • Working with the Tech Director to determine how best to measure and improve the performance of IT

Below is what they’re looking for in this Technical / IT Support Specialist:

  • Previous experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician or similar role
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure stack, InTune, Office 365, Azure AD, lastpass, AWS and atlassian products
  • Hands on experience with both Windows and Mac OS environments
  • Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, other tech products and a familiarity of remote desktop tools
  • The ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
  • Must be an analytical thinker and walk through a series of complicated technical actions until the issue has been resolved
