Digital Producer, Work from home/London – Up to £35k DOE plus benefits (9 month contract)

This digital innovation agency are going great guns right now! They need a Digital Producer to support with a website platform migration project for a large B2C client.  Experience working with Adobe Experience Manager is highly desirable for this project as that will be the new platform they are working with. 

Working closely with the project manager, client services, development and content teams, this Digital Producer will be responsible for managing the day to day workflow of the delivery team and ensuring they have all the information they need to keep to the overall project schedule. 

This Digital Producer will be a confident communicator that is able to work independently and as part of team. You’ll be a pro at pulling together briefs and keeping track of multiple changes in a project. This Digital Producer will need to be comfortable liaising with the client on a day-to-day basis as well as with internal teams and will be responsible for testing that work is completed to brief before it is released to the client.

Key responsibilities of this Digital Producer:

  • Manage the day-to-day task list for the content and development team members via daily stand ups and Jira tickets
  • Ensure that clear briefs are written for the content and development teams with all required assets and expected deadlines
  • Create briefs for the studio team where new assets or asset adjustments are required
  • Quality check that briefs are completed and preview pages look as expected before being released to the client for sign off
  • Cross browser test website pages and check functionality is as expected with tickets created for resolution when required
  • Co-ordinate approvals and asset requirements directly with the client
  • Able to independently trouble shoot and be the first point of contact for the day to day delivery team around their work priorities and the detail of their briefs
  • Provide regular updates to the Project Manager and Client Services team about project progress and escalate issues where required
  • Have an understanding of project risks and support the Senior production team to mitigate them
  • Keep Jira up to date with accurate use of swim lanes, status type and clear actions so that project progress is visible at a glance
  • Clear communications at all times with a focus on problem solving and maintaining project velocity
  • Supporting the Project Manager with the sprint planning, sprint burndown and sprint review meetings
  • Working on-site at the client offices in Epsom (when Covid safe)
  • Support directly with content changes when required (training will be provided)
  • Support on wider digital projects for this client and others, dependent on project progress and velocity (senior support will be provided) 

Digital Producer knowledge, skills and experience: 

  • Digital production experience of a minimum of 2 years required
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Experience working with developers and managing briefs
  • Experience working on similar migration projects for large scale websites
  • Knowledge and experience using Jira or similar ticketing systems required
  • Knowledge and experience of working with Adobe Experience Manager highly desirable
  • Understanding of, and interest in web development projects with eagerness to learn
  • Understanding of different types of project management methodology is a bonus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Pro-active and problem solving nature
  • Experience working in a digital agency desirable
  • Experience working with enterprise level blue chip companies desirable
