Business Analyst, London – Up to £500/day (5 days a month - 6 month contract – potentially longer)

My client is a new agency backed by a larger award-winning group and they’ve got a big client ready for some amazing promotions, partnerships and loyalty projects across Entertainment, Food, Travel, Style and Wellbeing. A Business Analyst is required to help them operate in a more smart and efficient way.

The agency in question was born out of a huge mobile telco client win and although the agency is currently small in size, it has the potential to become something extraordinary. This Business Analyst will be a part of its success right from the start.

The key responsibilities for the Business Analyst are:

-          Work with the client Finance Director to report agency driven forecasts and revenue reconciliation

-          Partner with the client to develop business models based on targets and performance

-          Ensure the existing budget is used effectively to maximise offer performance

-          Develop new revenue opportunities with clients

-          Build strong client relationships to ensure data analytics continue to add value and power their business and the wider agency relationship

-          Present efficiency case studies and knowledge sharing pieces across the agency that will inform how the agency make partner approaches


Knowledge, skills and experience of this Business Analyst:

The Person:

  • Passionate about money and efficiency
  • Operated at a senior client level and has led client accounts from a strategic or consultative perspective
  • Curious, ambitious and desire for continual improvement – has a point of view on the future of their discipline
  • Strong personable skills

 The Skills:

  • Financial model guru
  • Expertise in manipulating and normalising a variety of data
  • Able to create and deploy predictive and prescriptive modelling to power world-class customer experiences / programs across all touchpoints
  • Performance measurement – define measurement frameworks around business, marketing and customer metric. Design, develop and deploy framework in appropriate tools
  • Experience working in the Telco or digital sector preferred
  • Some project scoping and management experience advantageous – i.e. can lead an analytics project
