Freelance Marketing Manager (Mat Cover), Hybrid / Stratford-Upon Avon – Up to £250 per-day

If you’re a Freelance Marketing Manager with experience across a range of different marketing channels, we have the perfect role for you. Joining a rapidly growing media agency, you’ll be tasked with developing first in class marketing strategies for some big-name clients.

As Freelance Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the broad marketing of the agency to both existing and prospective clients.

The day-to-day responsibilities of this Freelance Marketing Manager include:


         Devising email campaigns

         Social channel management

         Look out for PR opportunities (working with external PR agency)

         Co-creating thought leadership and leading the web site overhaul.

       Client Hospitality – this includes booking tickets / venues, liaising with suppliers, organising invites, organising agenda with staff attendees, and so on.

       Christmas – this concerns both client engagement (e.g. sourcing and ordering hampers, liaising with suppliers) and also the staff party (sourcing venue, hotels, tickets, etc).

       Industry awards – creation and submission of awards entries, maintaining a calendar of award opportunities to enter.

       Relevant speaking opportunities to further the broader business imperatives.

       Running hosted events


This Freelance Marketing Manager will also have the following:

       Ability to design and develop an engaging company website to optimise and amplify positioning.

       Ability to develop a Marketing Strategy and to input into the development of the company.

       Strong written skills with proven ability to draft marketing campaigns, awards submissions etc.

       Good understanding of what Marketing success is – ROI, client wins, self-promotion etc.

       Delivery focused with the ability to prioritise and organise workload agreed within deadlines.

       Strong customer focus.

       A proactive and can-do approach towards work tasks.

       Excellent presentation skills both formally and informally.

       Numerate and financially aware with the ability to produce reports and statistics as required.

       Open communication style, with ability to communicate at all levels in an organisation.

       Good ambassadorial and diplomatic skills.

       Good personal presentation and high level of professionalism.
