This Senior JavaScript Developer will be responsible for the architecture of new features and for maintaining the technical quality standards within the Development team.
We’re looking for a Senior JavaScript Developer to work on an operating system that connects brands and retailers to streamline planning, media buying, budgeting, and evaluating commerce marketing activity.
This Senior JavaScript Developer’s responsibilities will be:
- Design & build web applications using JavaScript. The tech stack includes node.js, React, MongoDB, AWS.
- Contribute code across the full stack of the web application.
- Take responsibility for technical quality standards within the Dev team.
- Define the code architecture for new features.
- Take initiatives that improve code quality and user experience.
- Work closely with the product team to ensure quality of tickets.
- Maintain and optimise our AWS infrastructure.
This This Senior JavaScript Developer will need to have / be:
- Significant experience delivering at a Senior Developer level.
- Deep knowledge of the JavaScript language and related frameworks. Must include React, node.js (or both).
- Practical and real-world experience working with databases, ideally MongoDB.
- Practical experience of delivering in an agile environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Deep understanding of software tools and practices, including git, pull requests, code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD etc.
- Good understanding of security and performance considerations.
- Comfortable with deploying a web app in AWS.
- Typescript (optional).
