Account Manager - DRTV, Central London – £35-40k depending on experience
This is an exciting opportunity to join an agency who excel in driving positive change in over 25 countries, focusing on the vital work of inspiring people to take action. As Account Manager you will become a vital part of their vibrant and friendly account management team and build strong relationships across every area of the agency including Creative, Post-production, and Media.
This Account Manager will have a strong background in project management. This includes the ability to plan, organise, and execute projects efficiently, meeting deadlines and providing regular updates. You’ll have proven experience in end-to-end project management and client interaction.
This Account Manager will need:
Project Management skills. A strong background in project management is crucial. You’ll be efficient, organised, articulate, convincing and team-minded, able to think ahead, plan for what’s coming up and meet deadlines, providing regular reports & updates.
Client relationship management skills. Serving as the primary point of contact for client accounts, you’ll demonstrate strong interpersonal skills. This involves understanding client needs, objectives, and maintaining positive and collaborative relationships.
Communication skills. You’ll need excellent communication skills to influence people across (creative, media, analysts …) and externally (your clients) to help bring people together and stay on schedule. You’ll need to be flexible and able to deal with a multitude of people, personalities, and priorities.
Problem-Solving Skills. You’ll demonstrate the ability to identify challenges and provide ad hoc solutions to client problems, managing expectations and remaining calm in challenging situations.
Knowledge of creative and production. TV ads and film are our core outputs. You'll have the ability to present creative concepts to clients, prepare draft creative briefs, and facilitate accurate feedback collection and communication between clients and the creative team.
Direct Marketing. Knowledge or experience in direct marketing is beneficial. Familiarity with creative processes and the ability to liaise with creative teams are valuable assets. You’ll be able to show us that you’re numerate and enthusiastic about understanding campaign performance.
Fundraising experience. It would help you understand and have empathy with the charity sector.
