Angular Engineer – Remote anywhere in the UK, £60K plus benefits
This leading global data and measurement-driven media agency need a new Angular Engineer to work with some of the most forward-thinking people and brands in tech.
As a Front-End Developer, you will work with a dedicated team to build captivating online experiences with a strong focus on quality and creating value for clients.

Responsibilities
Ensure all tasks are completed as planned and executed to the highest level of quality and efficiency
Be an active contributor to the Engineering Chapter - attend Chapter sessions, contribute to the discussions and share ideas
Work collaboratively with the Design and Product practices. Ensure all new UX / Design brief is fully understood, technically assessed and signed-off for your project before development
Provide accurate estimates on requirements
Produce clean, efficient, tested code
Competencies
Minimum 3 year experience in OOP in Javascript (or Typescript)
2nd generation Angular (6+) in a Production app
Minimum 3 years experience HTML5, CSS and CSS preprocessors (Sass or Less)
Minimum 2 year experience using TDD and BDD approaches with frameworks like Cypress, Jasmine, Mocha or Chai with Protractor and Karma
Package managers (NPM or Yarn)
Webpack, Gulp or Grunt
Version control using Git (or Mercurial) with Github or GitLab
Web development with API-feed data
Cross browser compatibility
Progressive Web Apps (PWA)
Using style / brand guides
Working with designers (graphic and UX)
Great interpersonal skills; able to communicate at all levels of seniority and levels of technical understanding
Skills
JavaScript without frameworks
Attention to detail and producing pixel perfect implementation of designs
A strong work ethic and able to work in a busy environment
An ability to work without close supervision, supply clear progress updates, raise concerns when necessary
Staying abreast of the latest developments in Front-end
Strong sense of UX from a coding perspective
Knowledge
Web Accessibility (specifically WAI-ARIA)
Working in a CI / CD environment
Atomic or material design
Agile / Scrum
Understanding of coding standards and conventions
Documentation
Familiarity with OpenAPI
Nice to have
Familiarity with React, Node.js, Python and Go
HATEOAS / Hypermedia APIs
