Key responsibilities of this Audit and Accounts Manager:

- Client & Financial Leadership
- Act as the primary contact for clients, advising on accounts, tax planning, and compliance.
- Ensure deadlines (Companies House, HMRC filings) are met while maximising tax efficiencies.
- Manage budgets, billing, and profitability—minimising write-offs and optimising revenue.

Audit & Compliance Excellence:

- Oversee statutory audits, accounts preparation, and corporation tax returns.
- Handle P35s, P11Ds, Form 42, and directors’/partners’ personal tax returns.
- Conduct ad-hoc projects (due diligence, forecasting, valuations).

Team & Business Growth:

- Mentor and develop junior staff, improving workflow and efficiency.
- Support business development, identifying new opportunities and attracting clients.
- Collaborate with partners on strategic initiatives and process improvements.

What We’re Looking For from this Audit and Accounts Manager:

- Qualified ACA/ACCA/CA (3–4+ years PQE).
- Proven experience managing a portfolio (£150K+ fees).
- Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, auditing standards, and tax compliance.
- Tech-savvy – CaseWare, Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and MS Office proficiency.
- Exceptional communicator – confident liaising with clients and stakeholders.
