Business Development Manager, Central London / Remote – £45k + £25k commission and benefits

Are you looking to work with a growing, global tech business? This Business Development Manager role will see you managing client relationships with some huge brands. This thriving tech business is relied on for their expertise in delivering inspiring digital content.

This Business Development Manager role involves both extensive client-facing responsibilities, and ownership of the client strategy for each of the relationships.

You will be expected to become the subject matter expert on client business, develop deep expertise in the ecommerce sector, and collaborate across a broad range of different teams and jurisdictions. It is an exciting opportunity for anyone who is able to think strategically, act globally, and who enjoys working with senior stakeholders in a very commercial role.

This Business Development Manager will be responsible for:

-        Forging key strategic relationships to engage and retain our top clients

-        Expanding connections within assigned brands to reach all budget holders

-        Engaging clients in this businesses innovative product suite

-        Being a trusted advisor to your clients and colleagues

-        Engaging, being curious, and driving conversations to uncover business challenges and/or pain points where this tech business can demonstrate the value of their services

-        Driving significant revenue growth across your portfolio of clients through creating, identifying and converting sales opportunities

-        Engaging with clients on a day-today basis to surprise and delight; keep the client up to date on the progress with their campaign and leading performance reviews and optimisations

-        Preparing and leading high-level face-to-face meetings between clients and internal Executives

-        Managing key internal relationships to effectively drive the priorities of your client

To be successful this Business Development Manager will have:

-        2-3 years' experience of exceeding individual targets in a CRM or Business Development role

-        Proven success in managing client relationships

-        Great understanding of and a passion for the digital marketing space

-        Educated to degree level or similar

-        Experience of working with a range of clients, simultaneously and seamlessly within our three key service tenants: Retain, Engage & Grow

-        Demonstrable experience in building demand, generating opportunities, negotiating and closing to meet individual sales targets

-        Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across a wide range of internal and contacts

-        A big interest in technical marketing – experience would be nice to have

-        Strong commercial and decision-making skills

-        Confident sales presenter, with the ability to take the lead and run top level meetings

-        Comfortable approaching people with a strong client service ethic

-        Fluent in written and oral English; additional languages are a big advantage

-        Proactive and highly self-motivated

-        Enthusiastic and energetic personality

-        Understanding of different business practices across various cultures

-        Organised and detail orientated

-        A self-starter, able to hit the ground running

-        Keen eye for spotting opportunities

-        Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
