We're seeking a Data Strategy Director to lead this agency’s evolution towards more impactful, data-driven marketing strategies. This role offers a unique opportunity to spearhead the transformation of how clients leverage data and technology to deliver compelling brand experiences. This involves thinking through overall design of ad stack, how clients capture, manage and segment audience data, and how they augment this with strategic partnerships, the shape of their reporting data pipeline and the things that need to flow through it, right down to the policies they need to adopt to govern the management of their data in a safe and compliant way. As a Data Strategy Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of digital marketing for clients.

Responsibilities of this Data Strategy Director:

  • Act as the day-to-day program lead for client audience insights, targeting strategies, and data management, working closely with the client’s Head of Data, Head of Digital, and Head of Media.

  • Support clients in becoming data and tech leaders in their industries by leveraging data and tech practices, services, and 3rd party solutions.

  • Spearhead the strategy, adoption, and assessment of audience data across clients' businesses.

  • Lead the integration of clients’ audience platforms into cross-channel campaign planning and activation.

  • Build out robust test & learn approaches, alongside Analytics, to validate hypotheses around the use of audience data.

  • Work to future-proof clients’ Performance media investment through the development of their tech stack and attribution measurement.

Requirements for this Data Strategy Director:

  • 5-6 years of digital experience in data strategy, audience planning, ad tech, or programmatic roles.

  • Working knowledge of ad-serving DSP and data/customer management platforms.

  • Highly developed interpersonal, team-building, and project relationship management skills.

  • Strong analytical skills and a natural affinity for numbers.

  • Proficiency in line management, with experience in guiding the development of direct reports.

  • Experience within the Google Marketing Platform, especially DV360, Campaign Manager, and Google Ads.
