Senior Data Strategist – Central London / Work from Home – Up to £100k dependent on experience

This global innovation and research agency develop brands and experiences. They have offices in London, New York, Dayton, Frankfurt, Shanghai and Singapore. They’re growing quickly and are now looking for a Senior Data Strategist to promote and develop the role of data and analytics in project delivery across a diverse range of ambitious clients. This is a leadership position for an individual that is excited about the idea of driving real change in how we do things.

This Senior Data Strategist will bring clarity to clients' most complex challenges. They’ll need to develop their data capabilities and service offer. There’s a real opportunity to more effectively deploy a more diverse range of data sources, approaches, capabilities and methodologies to better deliver against clients' business challenges.

This Senior Data Strategist will demonstrate:

True collaboration: Someone who can engage, inspire and positively disrupt their closest colleagues but also build deep, mutually productive relationships with other data professionals across the group.

Business development hunger: We aren’t looking for a salesperson but do want someone who loves to get under the skin of a client problem and communicate clearly how we can partner to solve. We want someone who has the drive to connect with clients and help them see how to leverage a range of data sources, tools and methodologies to create advantage.

Brings ideas to life: This person is a storyteller. Has the ability to take raw data, extract insight and bring possibilities to life in interesting and compelling ways. We’re looking for someone who has the passion to uncover big ideas and present them simply and clearly.

An eye for marketing: An intuitive understanding of the huge role data can and should play in driving brand, innovation and CX decisioning. We want someone who sees the bigger picture and gets how data drives some of the biggest decisions in marketing.

Deep curiosity: We want someone who isn’t shy about dissecting briefs and opportunities to challenge how things could be done differently. Someone whose curiosity is infectious and helps promote a sense of learning and desire to keep improving what we do.

This Senior Data Strategist will have:

- Experience of working in a consulting, market research or insights analysis environment; client-side or agency/consultancy.

- Be comfortable leading projects and upselling our data science and analytics capabilities.

- Be confident working with data and experience using third party market research tools (e.g. Brandwatch, GWI, YouGov Profiles, Mintel, SimilarWeb).

- Have experience producing insight reports and presentations with a cohesive storytelling flow, backed by data.- Have experience/familiarity with data analysis and visualisation tools e.g. Tableau, SQL, Python, R, SPSS, etc.
