Accounts Semi-Senior (Part Qualified)

​Account Semi-Senior (Part Qualified), Guildford – Up to £40k dependent on experience

We’re looking for an Accounts Semi-Senior to join a brilliant accountancy team in Guildford to work across a variety of business sectors. This practice fosters a culture built on mutual respect, where every voice is valued and every perspective matters.

This Accounts Semi-Senior responsibilities are:


- Draft and prepare client / statutory accounts of partnerships and LLPs
- Have a great understanding of VAT
- Compile P+L accounts, balance sheets of assets and liabilities
- Draft reports covering financial statements, client business issues, systems and controls
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and feedback.
- To delegate routine work to the juniors either on site or in the office, and to review that work when it is completed.
- Successfully continue path towards chosen qualification.


This Accounts Semi-Senior will have:


- AAT qualification or a number of module passes within the ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification.
- Experience of working towards a leading role within a team.
- Strong IT skills including good knowledge of Excel
