Social Media Executive / Content Creator
£35,000 | London | Hybrid (3 days in office – Tues–Thurs)
We’re looking for a Social Media Executive / Content Creator to join a growing creative agency and take ownership of social planning, content creation and client liaison across multiple brands.
This role suits someone who enjoys thinking ahead, shaping content plans, managing communities and working closely with clients, as much as creating the content itself. Video is part of the mix, but this is not a video-first role. The emphasis is on ideas, planning, calendars and consistent delivery.
You’ll manage social activity across a portfolio of brands while helping shape social strategies that support wider marketing objectives.
What you’ll be doing
Social media management & planning:
Managing and growing social media channels across LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok
Owning and managing content calendars for multiple client accounts
Developing content themes, formats and messaging aligned with brand positioning and campaign goals
Creating social content including static posts, carousels and light video
Writing clear, engaging captions, hooks and social copy
Capturing photo and video content where required and editing assets for social platforms
Staying up to date with social media trends, formats and platform developments
Community management:
Monitoring and responding to comments, messages and interactions
Identifying opportunities to increase engagement and grow online communities
Helping brands build stronger relationships with their audiences
Client strategy & collaboration:
Liaising directly with clients on content plans, approvals and feedback
Working with clients to understand their goals and translate them into effective social strategies
Briefing and collaborating with designers, videographers, photographers and copywriters
Managing content production from concept through to delivery
Reporting & performance insights:
Tracking performance across social channels
Producing reports highlighting what worked, what didn’t and recommendations for improvement
Using insights and data to refine future content plans
Digital marketing coordination:
Working alongside a third-party digital marketing agency supporting campaigns across LinkedIn, Meta and Google
Contributing to creative messaging, audience targeting and campaign ideas
Reviewing paid performance and communicating insights to clients
What we’re looking for:
Experience managing social media calendars and ongoing content plans
Proven experience creating content for LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok
Agency experience preferred, with confidence handling multiple clients or stakeholders
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Confident communicator who can present ideas and explain rationale to clients
Solid content creation skills across social formats
Comfortable capturing and editing video and image content
Familiarity with CapCut and/or Adobe Premiere Pro
Strong interest in social trends, platform developments and content innovation
Nice to have:
Experience with LinkedIn Ads or Meta Ads
Understanding of Google Ads performance reporting
Familiarity with email marketing / CRM communications
Basic knowledge of SEO and digital marketing
