Client Director (Swiss/German speaking) – Freelance Contract (London/Zurich) – £350 per day OUTSIDE of IR35
We are looking for an experienced Client Director based in either London or Zurich, who is looking for a unique opportunity to work for a truly international brand and level-up their career like never before.
The Client Director will be client facing and accountable for ensuring the smooth running of client projects & business and responsible for quality of service, on-time and on-budget completion of deliverables. You will work closely with the Commercial Lead & Client Operations Director and advise/partner with Production, Subject Matter Experts to set-up projects and oversee its delivery across multiple client projects alongside with production strategies.
As the Client Director, your main responsibilities will be:
Work with client brands and agencies to ensure a clear understanding of the production brief, deliverables and timeline for each project and relay those details to other members of the team as necessary
Demonstrate strong collaboration skills with internal agency teams and key external partners to ensure quality and adherence to production guidelines for key deliverables
Drive high quality work by leading initiatives from planning through to implementation
Understand and anticipate client needs, take them into account when framing and making delivery decisions
Lead project retrospectives to identify key learnings and process improvements
Oversee the monthly billing and tracking of all assigned production budgets
Ensure a thorough understanding of the contractual obligations, commercial arrangements and SLAs across assigned projects and ensure specific details are understood by the broader team
The Client Director’s main requirements are:
Experience within a global production environment, with a strong understanding of marketing and production implementation processes and project management across all key channels, including social, content, digital, video, AI, primary and post etc
Strong interpersonal and management skills with the ability to actively influence the direction to meet project objectives across multi-functional resources
Must be commercially astute and able to work in a fast-paced, fluid environment and possess strong negotiation skills
Expert client relationship skills including presenting to clients, dealing with multiple stakeholders, and ability to think on your feet
Strong written/oral communication skills in Swiss/German and English
Experience working with offshore teams a plus
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, wireframing/workflow tools, online project management/collaboration/ticketing tools eg JIRA, Smartsheet, Trello, Miro etc
