Social Media Manager. London, Hybrid working. £40K. FTC - 11 months
This agency’s goal is creating content that works – it is to be the best at content across all the channels at the client’s disposal: media, web, content, events, social. This an exciting opportunity for a passionate multi-disciplined social media manager to work alongside and learn from a collective of content strategists, creative thinkers, account leads, and producers.
As Social Media Manager, you will be tasked with ‘owning the social’ within the content department. You will be extremely well versed in all social channels but especially Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube. You will have your finger on the pulse of social trends and developments and be able to guide clients to successful engagement across channels. You will have an excellent view on community management best practice and be adept at successful and engaging community management yourself. You will also have a way with social words and a great ability to copy write for social.
Reporting into the Business Director, this position sees you play an integral part in building, managing and maintaining strong relationships. You will have experience in a range of different kind of writing, across different industries both B2C and (with firm experience in) B2B.
Responsibilities of this Social Media Manager:
Manage social clients (three main accounts) for the team – community management, social best practice, writing and proofing work
Ensure all the social work is of highest standard possible, and is in line with client need, tone, audience as well as making best use of channel and formats
Use social insights tools to derive data to turn into insights and action
Working alongside the content strategy / planning team to develop content ideas
Work with the design team to ensure synergy between written and creative elements of content
Join client calls from an editorial and social perspective to help optimal, effective and efficient relationships with all clients
Key Attributes of this Social Media Manager:
Essential: Experience of Social Media management or creation in an agency
Positive and solutions-oriented attitude
Excellent knowledge of and experience working across all key social channels
Insights and data oriented, able to pull data to derive meaningful insights
Extreme attention to detail and excellent command of grammar
