Technical Director, Central London – Up to £100k dependent on experience
We’re looking for a strong Technical Director to join a forward-thinking agency with plenty to get started on. As Technical Director you’ll be responsible for ensuring the success of a wide range of technical platforms, products and services. Are you the Technical Director we’re looking for?
Joining the team here you’ll be working closely with Technical Leads, Project Management, UX and Design to plan and estimate technical programmes of work, preparing and delivering proposals to all levels of client organisations, being a hands on developer to shape, troubleshoot and deliver solutions.
The Technical Director we’re looking for will be someone with a proven history of delivering online technical platforms, websites and solutions within a similar digital agency, comfortable working on various technology stacks and project types. As Technical Director you’ll be working with the following:
Content Management Systems (Open Source & Enterprise)
Mobile applications and sites, bespoke platforms, API’s and Web Services
Interactive campaigns, digital communications and emerging technology
Cloud hosting and associated services
Front-end technologies and framework including vue.js or react.js
Here’s the type of Technical Director we’re looking for:
Confident managing teams
Experience working with different enterprise and open source CMS / DXP platforms such as Sitecore, AEM, Drupal and more
Desire to learn new technologies and development principles
Strong understanding of typical development best practices (TDD, Agile, XP) and tools to manage (Trac, JIRA, Trello)
Excellent knowledge of different database technologies and when to use them
Hands-on development experience with back-end technologies such as .NET, PHP or Java
