Test Analyst / Junior Developer (Machine Learning) – Up to £30k dependent on experience
We’re on the search for a Test Analyst / Junior Developer who is looking to join an innovative business with expertise in SaaS, technology and AI solutions. They’re looking for a Test Analyst / Junior Developer who is looking to manage their test functions for any products being released or developed. You’ll be vital in building the testing function, taking ownership of testing to ensure quality products are released.
This Test Analyst / Junior Developer will be responsible for running test cases and peforming manual regression testing, logging and tracking defects in JIRA, creating test documentation, plans, reports and much more. Being a Test Analyst / Junior Developer you’ll need to have some experience within a similar role, having knowledge of SaaS or tech, and utilising tools such as JIRA. You’ll have a solid understanding of various testing approaches as part of the software testing lifecycle, experience with browser and device testing, experience in writing test scenarios, cases and scripts and much more.
Here’s what you’ll be focusing on as Test Analyst / Junior Developer:
· Creating and maintaining test documentation such as test plans, manual test cases, test reports and more
· Participate in agile planning and refinement sessions
· Troublehooting, testinga dn maintaining core product software and databses
· Help manage the release of software onto the SaaS platform
Below is what they’re looking to see in this Test Analyst / Junior Developer:
· Good understanding of various testing approaches in the software testing lifecycle
· Experience using project tracking and documentation tools such as Jira and Confluence
· Experience with testing tools such as BrowserStack & Chrome developer tools
· Experience querying databases, creating and using SQL queries
· Experience writing test scenarios, cases and scripts
